End of Summer Autumn Schedule

August 25th- Nature walk. We will be meeting at Prospect Ponds at 9am . We will walk to The Environmental Learning Center. Then we will take the nature walk there. We can also visit the Rapture cages. You can meet at 10am at the ELC only. The walk to the ELC is stoller friendly but the nature walk is not. We can lock up our strollers together if need be. There is an area with picnic tables to have lunch afterwards so lunch can stay in cars or stoller until done.
September

September 8th- Park day. Viestenz Smith Mountain Park 10am. We will be having Nature Scavengar Hunt different from the first but will be wonderful to see the change in nature. If you had a bag last time please bring it so any new kiddos can have one this time around. Thank you!

September 22nd- Nature Walk. 10am We will be meeting at The Children's Garden at Spring Creek. It was originally Bobcat ridge but with the Harvest Farms decided doing something a bit more low key. Hoping to get out to Bobcat during the fall. Bring a picnic and we can enjoy!

September 23rd- Harvest Farms. Come Celebrate the First day of Autumn with fun activities at Harvest Farms. There is a fee of $6.oo per person we need 15 paying people to come to get the group rate 3 and under is free!!! Not all the activities will be open but will still be a wonderful way to bring in Autumn!! Bring a picnic lunch. I love this time of Year.. Mother Nature let us have a perfect Autumn day!

September 30th- Nature Walk @ Running Deer. Meet up around 9:45am and we will head out around 10am. This is a beautiful walk and we will be having lunch so please bring lunch and water. It is stroller friendly

October

October 13th- Park Day. TBA. 10am bring lunch we will be doing leaf rubbings with the kids. All supplies will be provided. Then of course fun play!

October 27th- Nature Walk. Pineridge meet-up time 9:45am we will start around 10am of course come even if a bit late you will always catch up. This hike is stroller friendly.

November

November 10th- Park Day. Rolland Moore Park. We will be collecting nature and making animals out of pinecones, twigs, leaves and other treasure we find along the way. Any other supplies will be provided.

November 24th-Nature Walk TBA.
