Riverbend Ponds.

I must say not only being outside walking, laughing, learning, playing feeling free there is such an amazing feeling of getting those toes and feetsies in the water in March. Free play and exploring is bliss!!!! Please everyone get out and enjoy it either with a nature tribe or on your own.
This is one cute doggie.
Some exploring on the ice.

Precious, this photo is adorable peace!
After some hiking and ice playing fun its time for some snacking a free play.

Good time for some R&R.
What a day the temp was right for the kids to get off their shoes and shirts and get muddy!!

Good-bye,
Happy Trails,
Angela

Rolland Moore/ Faery making day!!!

To see how to make these sweet fairies click below!
ones that I made before the day.
OOOOh it was a cold one and putting it in perspective probably not as cold as it will get but our bodies need to climatize for the up coming winter so it was chilly... but, still a great day out.

The kiddos where off exploring where they could. I love this walk there are so many fun places to explore and find. This is close to our home and one we do very regularly.

So the kids found this long that needed to come with us, so with lots of team work brought it all the way to where we were going to stop. I could probably guess it kept them warm.

Some of our sweet young ones keeping warm.

Having fun making the faeries. They are sweetly handcrafted out of all nature items. Most where collected prior to today. I unfortunatly have no pictures of the finished ones but they are so undeniably fun to create and are adorable...

Can you say "Soup" having some warm soup

The kids played and played in the fun spot and explored. Yes, they were climbing all around water. They built there own bridge out of the log they carried and just had a blast hiding and laughing. as us Mama's and yes, papa crafted.

and of course at the very end they were ready to make some faeries. This was a fabulous day.

and then off running again, good-bye,

hugs and happy trails,

Angela

Have an outside Time Out Today

Take the time out today and enjoy being outside.

Story time- Find a nice tree to lean on or bring a blanket and read a story outside, breathing in the fresh lovely air. Make up your own story about the tree you are sitting under, or clouds in the sky, create one on why the leaves are changing colour.

Mealtime- grab a blanket and eat a meal outside, breathe deep between eating. Taste your food and talk about where your food comes from and how important all of nature to your health.

Playtime- Grab some indoors and go outside and play. Find a different spot outside than normally visit and play. Find a fun game red light green light, mother may I and be silly!

Walk or Ride your bike somewhere instead of drive. Talk about what would life be like if you didn't have a car.

Explore your mind for ideas and ask the kiddos something they might enjoy outside TODAY!!!

Be with nature and The fresh air is good for us and helps to keep us healthy!! Enjoy it!! Be arole model for your children and encourage the simple pleasures of being outside!!

hugs and Happy Trails,
Angela
