Fossil Ridge Open Space Nature Walk

Welcome and enjoy!!!

Our nature walk out at Fossil Ridge Open Space was wonderful!! This hike is wonderful in the winter non- windy day.  The sky, clouds and the views of the open space is gorgeous.  This time of year the Bald Eagles are roosting so you can only walk the Sandpiper trail. It is a one way in and out but there is a viewing area.  This area is great to stop at and have a snack and play on the ice!!!!

Don't mess with a boy and his suit coat!! adorable

amazing how the rock and its bubbles froze as the rock is falling.  The kids loved viewing the different rocks and shapes in the ice.
Good-bye my Friends, Happy Trails ~Angela

Ewe Bet Ranch

What an amazing day this was. The tribe headed out to the sheep ranch with the Naturally Parenting group in Loveland. Teresa at the ranch is so wonderful. She just opens her ranch to us and gave us a tour of the sheep, horses and Lama. She talks so well with the kids and educating them about the animals and us adults. We got to trek through the poop and really get out to where the sheep are kept.

Here is the Lovely Teresa Beemer of Ewe Bet Ranch
There were a lot of us and parking was starting to be moved down the road some.
More coming.
Teresa starting our tour. So was so awesome she let the kiddos climb up on the fence.

It was a really lovely day. But a bit more than half way through the visit the wind did start to kick up some. Well a lot

Always love to show off the dad's that come out with us for the day. This is a tribe for the whole family ALWAYS!

The Sheep

Having some fun exploring

The chickens, though they were a bit freaked out!

Look at that one, coming around to see if all is clear!
Going inside to see what you do with the wool of the sheep. Everyone got some wool to feel and have, Teresa was showing the kids about spinning and making yarn. It was so neat she was so good with the kids and many seemed very interested in what she was doing

Talk about the sheep and wool. Picture a bit out of order but i have no idea how to move them around.
Those who wanted stayed and had lunch in the barn, we talked bought and had a really good time. Teresa we thank you so much for opening up your home to us, share your stories about you life and your family. It made everything so very special. I am so grateful to have these opportunities in our community and people willing to do this for our tribe.
She's going to spin herself some yarn.
Good bye,
Hugs and happy trails, Angela and the sweet Ellie
